I make my lampwork beads mostly with Moretti glass. My current favorite torch is the Knight Bullet Burner. My beads are all handcrafted and may vary slightly in size and appearance. They are carefully kiln annealed for durability.

Many of my beads contain small pictures of butterflies, turtles, spiders, fairies, and the like. These are murrini which I make myself. It is an ancient process of cane making where the design is built into a glass rod layer by layer. The design runs throughout the rod and slices are taken to be used in my glass beads. The best way that I can describe it is it similar to the techniques that modern polymer clay artists use.
